Rome

Wednesday we visited the Forum and Palatine Hill. You'll see a couple pictures of the Colosseum as well but it was closed by the time we got there this afternoon. We will visit it on our return to Rome in a couple weeks.

This is the Four Rivers  fountain in Piazza Navona.

This is the Pantheon. The Dome was the inspiration for the St Peter's Basilica dome, the dome of the Duomo in Florence and even the US Capitol dome.
