Have you missed us? The JNL Roadshow has finally gotten on the road again. Home life and responsibilities have kept us busy. But it's finally time for a much needed excursion!
First stop...the city that never sleeps...Las Vegas! LW and his brother were participating in the National Bowling Tournament for two days so this gave us the excuse for a vacation. While the boys bowled, the sil and I hung at the pool, even though Vegas hit an all time record high of 120 degrees while we were there.
PopStroke, a mini golf course by Tiger Woods, also drew our attention. We attempted both courses but the Challenge course was a bit of a ....shall we say...challenge. After nine holes I was ahead of LW, mostly due to his trouble on Hole 2. For all his golfing buddies enjoyment, I've included a little video footage of his trouble. The purple circle on the left shows the hole on 2 where he is trying to go. But he is down on Hole 3 (blue circle on right).

But I ended up losing to him by 1 stroke! However, I called for a recount since he was also the scorekeeper. There was very little shade and the heat was horrible so even though we could play all day, we opted for lunch and to head back to the hotel and ac. Look who was walking in as we were leaving.
We saw the show called Paranormal-Mind Reading Magic with Frederic De Silva. He is a mind reader, mentalist, magician. This was an amazing and mind boggling show. We talked about some of the tricks for days. If you ever have a chance to see it, go!
One day I walked over to the Aria to check out the exhibit called Princess Diana and the Royals.
Tuesday our Vegas companions went home and we took off for our next stop, Idaho!
