Bahama Cruise

A few weeks ago, LW and I went on a cruise to the Bahamas leaving out of Miami.

The cruise stopped in Nassau and we took an excursion around Nassau.  Here are the pictures from that excursion.
I love seeing all the churches in places we visit.

Fort Fincastle and the Queen's Staircase

LW enjoying a Bahama Mama.

Our tour also stopped at Atlantis.
We visited a Rum Cake Store and a rum distillery.

The other stop was at Royal Caribbean's port called Cococay.  We reserved a beach bed and spent the day being lazy on the beach.  I loved it!

Towel animals left by our room steward each day.

After the cruise, we spent a few days in the Keys.  Our hotel was in Key Largo and had a view of the bay with a tiki hut with a bartender on duty every afternoon.

There were so many iguanas/lizards/geckos roaming around!

These birds followed the iguanas around.

Loved these cups available at breakfast.
On Monday before we flew home we spent the afternoon at Zoo Miami.  We rode a 2 person "bike" around the zoo.  It was a fun and interesting way to get around.

Here are my animal pictures.

More iguanas

Check out the teeth!

Not sure if you can read the sign for these animals but guess what?  LW couldn't either.  When I asked what do we have here?  LW responded, "Small Wild Ass."  Well, the sign actually says Somali Wild Ass.  We laughed and joked asking whether or not the animals had to stand that way with their asses facing us since they were "Small Wild Ass."

Here is the sign at the exit.    This made me laugh as well.

We had a great time!
